Hello and thanks for dropping by. A few months ago I received an enquiry, the subject line read, ‘Please help me Restore My Homepage’. The email went on to explain what had happened. It turned out to be an elderly distressed lady from the US who had lost her homepage thanks to some suspicious software she had downloaded. I responded to her quickly, but then decided to share the solution with the rest of the community. So, you too want to know how to Restore your homepage again? Just in case you were starting to wonder, yes you’ve come to the right place. So what actually happened to your homepage?
Did you downloaded some lovely piece of “FREE” software that forgot to tell you that it would take over your homepage and manipulate your search results, or maybe you allowed someone less internet savvy to use your computer and by hook or by crook they some how managed to change your default homepage…. oh boy!?
Let me get out of your way and show you how to quickly restore your long lost Favourite homepage…:)lol
Now to make sure you restore your homepage correctly follow these steps.
Step 1: Before you restore it, you need to to find out which browser you are using.
Step 2: Once you have this information select your browser from the links below and after a few easy steps, your homepage will be restored
Set Homepage in Chrome Browser

Step 1 : Click the ‘Gear’ Icon
Click the icon to the far right of the web address titled,’ customise and control Google Chrome’.Step 2 : Select Settings
Scroll down to the bottom and select the ‘Settings’ optionStep 3 : Click Change
And go to ‘Appearance’ -> Tick the button that says ‘show homepage button’. Click the ‘change’ link under the buttonStep 4 : Set/Change the homepage
Select the ‘Open this page’ link and simply type in the name of the url you want to set as your homepage.Step 5 : OK Done!
Once done click OK and exit the setting window You will now see a home icon on the left hand side of your browser.Set Homepage in Firefox Browser

Step 1 : Click the ‘Firefox settings’ icon
Simply click on Firefox icon on the top right hand top corner of your browser window.Step 2 : Options Tab
Select the options tab.Step 3 : Set your new homepage
Select the ‘General’ you will see a fields called ‘Home Page’ where you can enter the homepage of your choice.Step 4: Hurray! You are done. Let’s test it.
Now to check that your new homepage has now been set, simply shut down your browser by clicking the red ‘x’ icon on the top right of your browser screen. Once the browser has shut down, go to your desktop or programs menu and double click the explorer icon to open it again. You will find the small gear icon on the top right corner of the browserStep 2 : A drop-down menu will appear
One of the options drop-down menu will say ‘Internet Options’. Click it, and select it.#Step 3 : Click the ‘General’ tab & set your Home page
Within the general tab, you will then see a place where you can set your homepage. Also don’t forget to click the ‘Start with homepage’ radio button in the ‘Startup’ section immediately below that.Step 4: Hurray! You are done. Let’s test it.

Step 1 : Add a new start-up page bookmaker
click the [+] icon to add a new start-up page bookmarker.Step 2 : Enter the name of the site you want to set
In the following window enter the website address www.(enter the name of the site you want to set here)Step 3 : You’re Done!
