When ever you go on the internet, your browser goes to it’s default home page. For many, that homepage is Google, Yahoo, Bing or your internet service provider’s website. But what if you want to change your home page to your favourite website?
How do you take www.[your-favourite-website].com and set it as your homepage? Well it’s actually really simple. Read on and I will show you how.
Here are the steps to set your homepage.
Step 1: Before you set your favourite website as your homepage, you need to to find out which browser you are using. This should either be Chrome, Internet Explorer , Safari or Firefox.

Step 1 : Click the ‘Gear’ Icon
Click the icon to the far right of the web address titled,’ customise and control Google Chrome’.Step 2 : Select Settings
Scroll down to the bottom and select the ‘Settings’ optionStep 3 : Click Change
And go to ‘Appearance’ -> Tick the button that says ‘show homepage button’. Click the ‘change’ link under the buttonStep 4 : Set/Change the homepage
Select the ‘Open this page’ link and simply type in the name of the url you want to set as your homepage.Step 5 : OK Done!

Step 1 : Click the ‘Firefox settings’ icon
Simply click on Firefox icon on the top right hand top corner of your browser window.Step 2 : Options Tab
Select the options tab.Step 3 : Set your new homepage
Select the ‘General’ you will see a fields called ‘Home Page’ where you can enter the homepage of your choice.Step 4: Hurray! You are done. Let’s test it.
Now to check that your new homepage has now been set, simply shut down your browser by clicking the red ‘x’ icon on the top right of your browser screen. Once the browser has shut down, go to your desktop or programs menu and double click the explorer icon to open it again. Step 1 : Add a new start-up page bookmaker
click the [+] icon to add a new start-up page bookmarker.Step 2 : Enter the name of the site you want to set
In the following window enter the website address www.(enter the name of the site you want to set here)Step 3 : You’re Done!

I wanted to change from IE to Chrome and clicked on a download that has made my search engine omiga as well as the homepage and I don’t want this. I just want Google Chrome and am worried that I have a third party with omiga. I have uninstalled Omiga from my programs but it is still coming up every time I click on my internet connection. Please help me get rid of all the omiga connection. I’ve tried searching and got the steps to uninstall through the settings but it is still there.
